This airbnb met our needs for our stay. It was about a 30 - 40 minute drive to Kona and all the northwestern beaches we wanted to snorkel and explore. The space was situated behind the main residence and felt like you were living in a tree house. Very peaceful after dark and in a safe gated community. If you are expecting resort style living then this isn't the place for you, but you better be willing to pay three times the price. For the value this was a great place to eat a few meals and rest our heads before the next day's adventures. The hosts were very friendly and would have accommodated any of our needs had we asked them. Isaac even surprised us with homemade pizza fresh from their pizza oven. Delicious!!! 😋

I’ll start out by saying we were not expecting the Hilton or Sheraton. We know it is a great deal. However, a few things were a problem for us. We did not have a lot of bugs but there is gaps in the framing of the house. For example, there is about a 3/4 inch gap above the front door and the door frame, this made it so we saw several lizards inside the airbnb. Second, it was not the most clean. Dead bugs were stuck to the walls in groups of 10 or so. Third, the airbnb is right next to the hosts house and has no blinds/ curtains. We did not realize it would be this close with walking paths in the yard right next to the bedroom window especially. A privacy aspect was missing for us. That being said we know what we paid for and if you are looking for super cheap then book it. We on the other hand would probably not stay here again but that is mostly due to the fact it is at least 30 minutes away from everything.

Good value of money. Location is high in attitude so weather on the road to the place could be raining frequently. Safe neighbourhood with gated entry. Host is friendly, helpful, and responsive to our messages and questions. Yes, it’s not like a high end hotel setting but match with the price. Good place to stay for 2 people and as long as you have a car rental, this place is a good choice if you are planning to visit Kona or Northern part of the island including Waimea. It’s about 30 min drive to Kona.

Natasha and her husband were responsive and helpful any time we needed something. the home is in an incredible neighborhood, it was quiet and peaceful and had everything you could need. a heads up for those who are afraid of bugs: you are in the hawaiian wilderness! there are bugs and lizards and you might find them inside the home. if you're super adverse to bugs you might want to consider a different accommodation. other than that it's a really wonderful place to stay, incredible for the price!
