Staff was from Capitol, not Altido. They were young and, in my opinion, unprofessional (although pleasant). They could not address issues with over-heating in parts of the building and failed to provide paper coffee cups promptly after they ran out. Windows in rooms opened only slightly. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Laundry system requires “membership”. Kitchen not available to Altido guests. Facility is on several bus routes, but they are slow and can require between 40 and 60 minutes to reach Central Edinburgh. Neighborhood food outlets are generally closed in the morning, making breakfast and groceries difficult to obtain. Only acceptable due to high prices elsewhere during Festival.

Nice accommodation and right around the corner from the bus stop and 10 minute walk to the train station so convenient for exploring Edinburgh.

Affordable and nice stay. Everything is as listed and nice area.
