The seaside apartment you don't expect just 20 meters from the beach, ideal for a family with children, just cross the road and you're on the beach. Chiatona in the province of Taranto is a small seaside village in Puglia, a pearl on the Ionian Sea characterized by its clean and uncontaminated sea. The beach is all sand and the shoreline is very shallow for many meters, perfect for the little ones. As soon as you enter the apartment is composed of a living room with an open kitchen and a small balcony. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary crockery, coffee machine, microwave, television, washing machine and products for cleaning dishes and home The hallway leads to the sleeping area with two bedrooms: one double, with wardrobe and bedside tables, with a small view onto an internal courtyard and sea view. In the bedroom there are four single beds, two of which are bunk beds and another two are sliding with a retractable desk. At the disposal of younger guests there are books, magazines, newspapers, games, dolls, paints and a television on a trolley to move it easily. Both bedrooms have bed linen available as well as blankets and duvets. The bathroom is small but functional with a large shower area and cabinet with towels and hygiene products available for guests.

Quiet seaside village frequented by families and young people from nearby towns
A few kilometers away there are two small agricultural villages Palagiano (8 km) and Massafra (12 km) where you can find supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and an always very lively evening life.
The nearby seaside resorts of Castellaneta Marina (km 18) and Ginosa Marina (km 25) are easily reachable and are very lively and popular on summer evenings.
A little further on you can spend a day at the Metaponto water park (km 33) or immerse yourself in the culture of the ancients and visit the museum with the Temple of Hera. It was precisely in Metaponto that Pythagoras took refuge to escape the tyrant of Samos, leaving Crotone, and founded the philosophical school of mathematics.
You may want to visit Matera (km 62), European capital of culture 2019, and its famous Sassi. The ancient rural houses carved into the stone. Very suggestive.

If you want to be overwhelmed by nature you must visit the Island of San Pietro which is part of the Cheradi archipelago rich in history and biodiversity and where it is also possible to spend a day on the beach.
