'The Jay Spot' is a newly refit and furnished custom open plan Vermont cabin on 7+ acres with 800' of private brook frontage that surrounds the house, yard and private hiking trails in a gentle babble year-round. Located near Jay Peak (9 minutes) & Long Trail Journey's End (9 minutes) and is adjacent to 2 VAST system access points. Seven guests maximum; child and dog friendly. Park one vehicle or multiple snowmobiles under cover at the garage while enjoying the comforts of this private home. This cabin was completely refurbished for 2023 to offer a different and thoughtful stay for our guests. The modern open floor plan that connects the kitchen and livingroom is ideal for social groups, entertaining, or relaxing after a day outside. The large kitchen is separated from a mid-century modern style living room by a concrete island/bar top countertop and purpose built coffee-nook. The dual purpose counter/table easily seats 7 people for dining. There are two bedrooms both overlooking the brook. The full bathroom is shared by the bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a king size bed while the second bedroom has a queen size bed with a full size overhead bunk. ***There is a strict 200 pound weight limit on the upper bunk bed*** Both bedrooms contain a fold-down desk and comfortable chair as a dedicated private working space. The living room boasts a comfortable couch/chaise lounge for relaxing after a long day outside. The unit also pulls out to a full size bed. Next to the back deck sliding door there is a small, cozy reading nook with soft private lighting. For your convenience, there is a full size washer & dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and a separate tub for cleaning up dogs and kiddos, as well as a double vanity with vessel sinks on a black concrete countertop. Free Wi-Fi with VERY high speed internet is available on site. In front of the couch is an entertainment center with a large screen TV and modern Bluetooth enabled AV receiver allowing for streaming music, TV, and movies from your personal device or by using your favorite internet streaming service. The cabin boasts 3 attached porches/patios. There is a side-access deck next to the kitchen, a large back balcony with sweeping views of the woods, valley and brook below, and a covered front porch. In addition, there is a detached deck and fire pit adjacent to the brook for enjoying the flowing water up close. The options to gather and enjoy the outdoors on this unique plot of land are extensive.
