The location has a sense of tranquility. I loved that my kids loved the patio. Was very specific on house instructions.

CB Island Vacations is a wonderful host. They are super responsive, provide detailed instructions, and very accommodating. The condo looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The description is spot on and is in a great location. There are lots of fun spots to eat at and is by a lovely beach. However, keep in mind that this is a ground unit with no A/C. We were aware of this going in but with ceiling fans, standing fans, and open windows and doors the home stayed extremely warm. The beds are firm memory foam beds with little support. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any quality sleep. Lastly, the host does warm you about ants and critters and gives you instructions to best avoid this issue. However before we arrived and cooked there were already ants in the kitchen. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with this host again at one of their other many properties.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Like others noted, CB Island Vacations did a great job managing the stay. They were very responsive, provided clear instructions for everything, and made checking/out very easy. PROS: Spacious unit with a peaceful patio, great kitchen with many useful appliances, beautiful master bedroom with private bathroom and patio, 5 min walk to Kamaole Beach, walking distance to many shops/restaurants, nice pool area with ample chairs and two grills to utilize. CONS: This unit gets VERY HOT (no AC as stated). We appreciated all of the fans, but they could only help so much. It forced us to keep the main doors open and utilize screen doors for airflow when home. There were little ants in the kitchen upon arrival and they seemed to stick around even when we cleaned up any food and took trash out every day. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Kihei and appreciated being welcomed by CB Island Vacations and the Kihei Alii Kai community! :)

I want to be clear that CB vacations did a good job of managing our stay and we’re fast to communicate. I would rent from CB vacations again. We normally stay at a different property, but tried a new one this time because our regular property was having pool work done. This condo was not a pleasant stay. The beds are the cheapest, firmest beds any of us had ever slept on. The bedding was also terrible and the fitted sheets kept slipping off the plastic sheets underneath. Nobody got a good night sleep. Additionally, this condo gets very little breeze and has no AC. We knew it had no AC and thought it would be fine, because we don’t normally we don’t need it at the other property, but you need it here. With no AC, the only option is to sleep with the windows and sliders open, but the slider locks are all broken on this ground floor property. So, safety becomes a concern. The pool area was also fairly disappointing. The pool itself is nice but there are zero shade options

Overall, the place was great and the kitchen is fully loaded with everything you will need. You have more than enough beach towels, beach chairs, but a beach umbrella is something you'll have to get. If you're jumping on the Redline snorkeling tour, you're about a mile from the pickup and drop-off spot. The location was terrific, with lots of places to eat, close to the beach and they have a nice-sized pool, the hot tub jets were broken at the time, but you could still go in for a dip. The only thing the room lacks is a view but it more than makes up for it with everything they provide you and its location.
