Everything you need for the off-grid retreat you've always been thinking about. Slow down, walk the 1.5km private trail, meditate, read poetry, and maybe even write some of your own. My stay during the autumn season was stunning. I spent a lot of time sitting with my dog, tending to the woodstove, writing, thinking, and watching the leaves fall from the trees. This is a quirky wood cabin comprised of rough sawn lumber and round wood. The kitchen has a wood-fired cook stove and the gear is quite nice (including an endgrain cutting board and nice cookware). I brought a small camp stove, a headlamp, and an aeropress for coffee — not necessary, but they certainly enhanced the experience. Having a secluded space in the woods for inward reflection or a creative project is pretty special. I sincerely appreciate the experience Gayle is offering. I plan to carve out at least 1 week a year to repeat this exercise. Thank you!

J’ai adoré pouvoir me ressourcer dans ce petit havre de paix. Gayle a été une hôtesse absolument sympathique. J’ai vraiment apprécié l’endroit. La maison était vraiment magnifique et tout était à disposition.

Nice wooden cottage in nature. Located in a nice little woods. Place is simple, for those who like to live the pure Canadian shack experience

Staying at this cozy cabin, deep in the woods, was a private and relaxing experience. The cabin has so many windows and is cozy, the surrounding area was just magnificent. With well groomed trails and beautiful forest, we couldn’t have asked for a more natural experience. The outdoor shower and toilet were well setup and maintained and all of the instructions we received were accurate and descriptive. A great place to come if you’re looking for disconnecting and spending quality time with your loved one.

We had the greatest time at the Cabine. We were on a camping ⛺️ trip in NB for 12 days, and this cabine was just perfect to have a cozy, warm and relaxe break before going back in the tent at Fundy National Park. We are looking to come back next year!
