Single en-suite bedroom in our quaint Oxfordshire village cottage. We have 6 guest rooms in total, all with individually locking doors. Guests have shared use of the kitchen, living room, bathroom, utility room and garden. The village has a pub, Indian restaurant, shop & park in easy walking distance. Oxford is only a 15-minute drive, & Didcot Station is close for trains to London in 40 minutes. It’s also 5 minutes from Williams F1 and Grove Business Park, 10 minutes from Harwell Campus.

This is the first time I stayed at Ben's place. I booked for 4 nights but went there to stay only 2 nights due to personal reason. Overall stay was very good, the room has its own ensuite shower/toilet, so have full privacy if you want. Only downside is the parking, I had to park near the church which is 3/4 minutes walk from the house. Apart from that I'll give 5 star for my stay there. Thanks Ben!

Nice stay for purpose of visit
Ben was very communitive, but unfortunately my room & house were not as expected. I have sent Ben a message in this regards & hopefully the problems will be addressed. The area itself is very nice & easy to find.

Woodcot is in the historic Oxfordshire village of West Hanney. There’s countryside walks, a village church, community woodlands, playing fields, an old mill and river, tennis courts, a local shop, pub and Indian restaurant within walking distance.
Local bus routes to Oxford and surrounding towns.
Mainline trainline from Didcot to London & Bristol is 15 mins away.
By car / parking: Main Street is quite narrow where the house is, and the driveway is a little tight. You are welcome to drop off your luggage by pulling into the drive, but please park overnight in the next street (Church Street) where there is plentiful free parking (and your car will be less at risk of a scrape too). There is a paved footpath back to the house just to the left of the Plough pub. Alternatively you can park at the Green by the war memorial you will have seen on your way to the house.
