Vacation home apartment "La Casa de Papa" is located in a rural setting with dikes and water features. There is a view of a traditional Dutch windmill and meadows with horses. Plenty to do in the area; the old charming cities of Alkmaar and Hoorn are nearby and Amsterdam is a 45-minute drive out. The beautiful beaches are a 30-minute drive away. The luxurious apartment offers a delightful experience with a stylish living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Great for vacation or business We have a great apartment of 55 square meters with its own entrance. A living room with a sofa and some nice chairs and TV, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. A bathroom with toilet, shower and floor heating. A bedroom with a comfortable Kingsize bed for two persons (180x200cm) again with tv and smart things. The appartement has airconditioning that can be used for heating, cooling or just to ventilating the air. Laundry service (extra charge) available. Free parking in front of the apartment on the property with 24/7 camera surveillance.

The house is in very beautiful and calm surroundings and easy to find. The parking place is just in front of the house. The house was exactly as described and shown in the pictures with all modern amenities. It was perfect for 2 of us. There is also a small windmill in the vicinity of the house. Serge was a very friendly and welcoming host. On the day of Check-in, he waited till late to welcome us. He also gave very useful tips regarding places to visit and best way to access the places. He also gave us small tour of his stable on the day of departure. I would love to go there again & I will definitely recommend this place, if you are traveling to Amsterdam and surroundings with the car.

Prachtig ingerichte woning van alle gemakken voorzien. Comfotabel huis, lekker bed en royaal uitgeruste keuken. Heerlijke rustige locatie om de omgeving te verkennen. Alkmaar is dichtbij, maar ook de prachtig bloeiende bollenvelden en de kust natuurlijk.
The accommodation was very clean and lovingly furnished. We liked the American flair. The bed was like a cloud. Really great. :) Serge is a great host. He was very attentive, friendly and available. He even showed us his horses. Thank you Serge & Laura for the great and warm hospitality. We will came back again! :) Best, Yen
Serge und Laura sind tolle und sehr freundliche Hosts! Die Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei und der Check-in war sehr flexibel. Wie wurden herzlich empfangen und erhielten einige Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung! Das Apartment war super schön und modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt! Die Lage der Unterkunft war ebenfalls wunderschön und eignet sich sehr gut für vielseitige Ausflüge, ob Strand oder Stadt :) Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, können diese wunderbare Unterkunft zu 100% weiter empfehlen und würden definitiv wieder kommen!

We are centrally located between very nice old beautiful cities /towns with windmills dikes…actually just Holland by the book. Many beaches 30 minutes away by car.
Train station just 7 minutes by car.
