This is my second time staying at Katelyn's place, as we loved it so much the first time we came back. Excellent location, comfortable beds, ample hot water and great internet. Katelyn is an extremely helpful host, very friendly and approachable. It is in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood, and we enjoyed walking in the area. It is also walking distance to the local grocery store and bank. I absolutely recommend her place if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Nairobi area.

Katelyn's place is a fabulous home away from home in Nairobi. She is a fantastic host, very approachable and full of great local information. We arrived late, yet someone was available to greet us and help us in to the space, which was beautifully set up. The beds are comfortable, there is ample hot water, and a great internet signal. It is in a lovely location, and we were able to safely walk for the local mall for groceries (about a 10 minute walk), as well as other nearby locations. Having traveled in Kenya multiple times before, I was aware that the power in the city can go out frequently, so was extremely thrilled to see that there was a back-up generator, which kicked in automatically whenever the power went out. This was a first for all of the places I've stayed, and it made such a difference. A truly excellent place to stay, and I will be using it again in the future!

Here you will find a beautiful large garden, ideal for small children with a trampoline, toys, pool close by and even a couple of tortoises. Also very warm, friendly and helpful people around.
