We had a great stay! We had a large group of 17 friends and family members. The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for everyone, we did not feel cramped at all. It is perfect for multiple families/large groups. The theater room, hot tub and game room were all amazing! The house is in a very quiet, secluded area. The beach was great. There were blinds on all of the windows, they must have added them since the other reviews. Highly recommend staying at this house for trips to the Port Austin area!

Pros first: Quick walk to the beach Quiet neighborhood Beautiful home Hot tub was great Theater room was amazing Kitchen has all tools needed to make food Had an issue with the breakers flipping from running the microwave and coffee pot, the host was very accommodating with this issue since the room to access the breaker box was locked Fun pool table downstairs Cons: I agree with others, no blinds on the front of the house is a little unnerving and got warm with the sun while the downstairs remained cold, bedrooms had blinds The downstairs was always cold, this would be a pro in the summer but in the winter it was hard to heat downstairs without being hot upstairs Mattresses were very worn in and while they were not uncomfortable is was hard to roll out of the body grooves The bunk beds were squeaky any time you moved on them There were no brooms to sweep up sand and dirt to keep it from tracking around the house Overall a great place to stay for families or girls weekend!

The home was great. The only real complaint was that there is no blinds anywhere. So there is no blocking light and also you feel totally exposed. Feels a little scary and vulnerable at night especially with the bunk bed room on ground level. Left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the house was great.
