Our grounds are teeming with the flora, fauna, spices of fruits of the. Spice island. We are only 20 minutes from Maurice Bishop International Airport, 12 minutes from the city center 10 minutes from the nearest beach, historical sites and attractions, and 5 minutes from the nearest hospital.

Amazing stay! Everything inside is carefully thought out and updated with all the modern amenities. AC in the bedrooms but the kitchen/living room is also amazing. The highlight is the outdoor covered patio. It's an amazing place to eat and hangout. I would definitely stay here again.
Penelope was a STAND OUT host! Her place was beautiful, clean, and a home away from home. She communicated quickly and got us in at very little notice. There are dogs that bark but it wasn't super bothersome and didn't bark at night. The patio area was spacious and cozy. What you get is a steal at this price point. Would absolutely stay here again!
Penelope’s place was very relaxing and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Sweetbtead in future visits to Grenada.
Let me start by saying that this was my first solo trip,and also my first visit to Grenada; I took this trip as a birthday gift to myself. From my exit off the plane to my ride to Sweetbread Chateau I felt the genuine warm welcome from the people of Grenada, and when I was greeted by Penelope my feelings remained the same. Once I informed her that this was my first solo trip to the island she suggested restaurants, or activities that I should try. A few days after my arrival, Penelope along with a friend took me to Dodgy Dock's restaurant as a birthday treat; the food was delicious,and It's a must visit for anyone who enjoys listening to a live band and dancing. I was even given a tour of the island by her cousin(for a very reasonable price,compared to others) who is very insightful about the island. Sweetbread Chateau is even better in person,and I would without a doubt recommend this location to anyone. This is my first of many more to come visits to SBC & Grenada.
Penelope’s place was exactly what we were looking for it. It was beautiful calm and relaxing in a great location. Wonderful value for money and could not recommend enough. Would definitely recommend.

LaBorie is one of the villages when you can enjoy the best of Grenada. Our family came here more than 150 years ago and many of us still call this village home. Our community prides itself on culture and sports, with one of the oldest steel band orchestra less than a mile away. Many evenings, we are gifted with the sweet sounds of the steel pan, as we settle in for dinner or lounge on the patio. Our neighborhood is safe, but we always encourage everyone to be always aware. This location is unbeatable, as you can experience countryside living just outside of the city. Our people are our biggest assets. LaBorians by nature, are very welcoming and always willing to assist.
Our guests can catch public transportation less than 5 away from the property. This bus service will take you to the main bus terminal, where you can access bus transportation to travel around the entire island. Be aware that apart from the southern route, most busses end their route by 7 pm. We recommend getting a car rental or joining a tour company for extended trips, which we can assist with arranging.
