I really wanted our experience to be better than it was, but I would not recommend Dome 11 to anyone. When we arrived the floor of the bathroom was covered in mouse poop and all of the toilet paper rolls had some level of mouse damage. The dome obviously had not been cleaned and I don't think the bedding was changed or else the cleaning service would have found the half full, disposible water bottle next to the bed. Although there was some evidence that a floor with a vapor barrier was installed at one point, it has since been removed and the dome is now just sitting on what looks like an outdoor deck. The dome cover had many holes in it that would have leaked if it had rained. The heater did not heat the space at all and cold air comes up between the boards. We ended up sleeping in all of our clothes. I contacted AirBNB directly about these and other issues as many of the domes on the property have been removed or have collapsed, and I had no faith in our issues being remedied.
A perfect getaway. Good location just 15 minutes to West Glacier. Devon Allen's attention to detail was superb. From the cozy amenities to the stunning view outside the dome, All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This place was ok. I really wanted to give it an outstanding review, because it has such great potential, but it was rough. There are not 3 queen beds, there’s 2 queens and a twin. There were tears in the top of the dome (rain), the bathroom ceiling was torn up and soap dispensers were ripped off the wall, the bathroom door doesn’t close, there were no curtains over the clear part of the dome (you face multiple other domes and the street- other units had curtains), there was no hot water (yes we did call and the problem was not addressed. My husband had to fix it the morning we left) and the host changed the lock combo before we arrived- luckily I had read this issue in another review so I had screenshot the wifi info before we got into the no signal zone so I was able to log on and get in touch with the host, but there wasn’t even warning this would happen. The surroundings were so pretty and the dome is really cool. We’d 100% love to visit again when some repairs have been made
This place was so neat! A new age way of tent camping per se. There were small gaps in the globe here and there and you can see thru the slats on the floor (you’re on a deck) to the ground so if that’s not your jam then this place might not be for you. We loved it tho! You can hear the trains running throughout the night as it’s across the road from the tracks but this didn’t bother us at all. It was a cool experience and my three little granddaughters thought sleeping in an “igloo” was the coolest thing ever!
WARNING find another place!!! I messaged Devon and he was super nice, gave door code, said someone would be there to assist with check in and I thought we were all set. We got there, found our dome, no one was there, the door code had to be done three times before it finally worked, we entered and the dome was torn apart no sheets on beds, filthy, shower was taken apart and I was very confused! went to message Devon and I had no service!!! this was never mentioned and no wifi pw was given. We drove over to the bar and it was closed. Luckily the door had a wifi pw so I was in the process of trying to download wifi calling when a guy opened the door. He said his name was Darryl and he said Devon tried messaging to say we were in dome 9 not 8. While he was talking to me he kept sticking his hands in his pants and stuttering, wouldn't make eye contact, agitated with me, n seemed like he was on drugs and very scary to be around!!! I said thank you and went to dome nine not wanting to stay..
