Welcome to "The Rusted Barn"! Nestled in the Missouri Ozarks just a stones throw away from beautiful Lake of the Ozarks and only a hop-skip & a jump from Truman Lake. There are so many things to do including fishing, boating, water/jet skiing, hiking, horse back riding, homestead classes, mountain/scenic biking, para-sailing, antiquing or shopping in Osage Beach, Warsaw or even Bass Pro Shop & Branson. We also offer the opportunity to purchase homemade breakfast, boxed lunches, and supper. This cabin is a small house on the owner’s property. It features an open concept floor plan with a queen size bed, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out queen sofa bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, large enclosed porch area, and a private room with a jacuzzi bath tub. The private fenced in back yard is equipped with a full size outdoor table for 6, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

We have nothing but great things to say about Tammy's place. We stayed here after our wedding in Preston, MO and it was the perfect short drive. Tammy was very timely and accommodating of our many needs which was very appreciated. The place was beautiful and cozy and the jacuzzi tub was a nice addition as well. To top things off she made us some cookie which were absolutely amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway around the lake.
Tammy was great, things were rough in the beginning from killing a wasps bed inside at night, from bedbugs to spiders. No disrespect whatsoever, the house was great and they were awesome but if your spending 900$ on an air Bnb it should be a little more up to scales great people great house and a great view. But the house should just be bombed one more time and she makes great cookies
The weekend reprieve that we needed, and it did not not disappoint. Tammy exceeded our expectations when she welcomed us face to face, gave a quick tour, and baked our family homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was such a warm welcome. The property was better than depicted in photos as there was endless roling hills and other various natural features that really added to the experience. The property was also beautifully decorated and cared for. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Tammy exceeded our expectations by informing us that they also offer meals for an additional charge. Our family took advantage of the meal option and we were not disappointed! The home-cooked meals were promptly hand delivered at the time we designated, but did not last long. The meals were delicious! I also must mention that I specifically asked for strawberry jam, and Tammy made a jar for my family. It is this kind of quality service and experience that will draw us back.
Beautiful farm home, perfect for small families. Sweet and attentive host! A nice place to go to get out of the city. 10/10 dont hesitate this is the peaceful get away you've been looking for!
