Gilda’s place was in a really great area with walkable restaurants nearby in a safe and peaceful neighborhood. Parking was accessible. The apartment does have steep stairs that the dog could not go down, but did look like the pictures. The place was rather dark inside with windows covered. It felt musty and needed some cleaning - there was pet hair in the beds and hair in the sink and shower. There was also trash left behind. The decor was unique and eclectic, but made the place feel a bit too claustrophobic with no open windows.

Beautiful home! Great place to stay in St. Louis! You are I'm the city but once you step into the door you are in your own quiet space! All the amenities were there and then some! We will Def be back!

Despite being near a very busy road, it was a Very quiet basement apartment and had direct access via an exterior side door. We did not spend a lot of time there since we were very busy but it had a very serene atmosphere. The neighborhood was walkable and we felt safe. It's a very centrally located apartment but a car is necessary. Great place. Great price.

Gilda’s place was a perfect rest stop. Easy to get into, lovely and private. Would definitely stay again!
