The Peacock Casita welcomes you with a private circular drive, continue around the windmill to the flagstone walkway which leads you to the raised front entry. PLEASE REMOVE SHOES INSIDE, our property is in an acreage subdivision offering a quiet country vibe ideal for stargazing and morning coffee on your private front patio. You can also take in the Monsoon storms courtesy of mother nature. There are convenient nearby Lakes, mountains, trails to explore with kayak and bike rental options. Guests that bring a furry four-legged guest need to read our Policies: Additional Rules section. We love dogs and the Peacock Casita has very specific policies before we accept the reservation. The Peacock Casita is situated in a rural setting of acreage properties in the mile high desert of Prescott Valley. The nights are quiet and dark with only the occasional sounds of neighboring livestock like donkeys and horses as well as roosters, and our free roaming Peacock. On the off night, you could hear coyotes or owls, a welcome change from parking lot lights, traffic noise and neighbors. Upon arrival you will pull up on your own private circular driveway to the flagstone pathway which welcomes you to the front door. The front yard features a private flagstone patio with a bistro table and chairs complimented by a barbeque with side burner and a wood burning Chimenea to enjoy the wide-open star filled nights with cheese, crackers and wine and a beautiful morning with coffee from our Keurig coffee maker. The exterior of the casita features a six-foot cedar fence for privacy from the main house. The interior features a high 13' peaked ceiling finished in beautiful blue pine shiplap and bright satin white shiplap boards for the walls. The kitchen includes a toaster, microwave, stove, a large fridge and all the kitchen luxuries to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The TV is on a retractable articulating swivel for table or sofa viewing and includes the use of Dish channels with Netflix. The interior has been thoughtfully upgraded with the kitchen's custom epoxy color countertop and travertine backsplash with useful additions including a ceiling fan, additional blue pine shelving and the necessary coffee bar. Our visiting peacock has graciously donated to the interior décor. The inviting loft bedroom will spoil you with a Casper queen size luxury memory foam mattress topped with 5-star bedding and is accessed via the staircase. Your sleeper sofa has a very comfortable factory installed inflatable mattress for those that can't navigate the loft, a very sturdy pop-up coffee table with storage compliments the firm, comfortable couch. The bathroom includes a full-size shower, an extra wide rain shower head with a removable handheld, Dove conditioner, shampoo and body wash, toiletries and a flush toilet. Complimentary snacks and beverage welcome you at your arrival. Privacy, comfort, amenities and a relaxing ambiance is what we strive to deliver. This Tiny House is tiny but mighty.
