We had a lovely stay at Marée guest house! Pamela is a great host, very friendly and proactive. She gave us a lot of tips to enjoy our stay :) The guest house was perfectly clean, safe and very practical at all levels. We hope to get the chance to stay at Marée shortly and for a longer piece of time :) We definitely recommend the Marée experience!

Pros: - The place is within walking distance to Batroun's shops/restaurants/beaches. - It's super new and very nicely designed. Amenities were nice too. - It was very clean - Check-in was super straightforward So if you're looking to spend a weekend in Batroun, this is a nice place for it. Cons: - The place is one street behind the main street. The street is used as a back-entrance to a bunch of restaurants, so it's not pleasant at all. - The place is at ground level, so it might get a bit noisy. Also, that means you need to keep the curtains closed at all times. So this place is better suited if you don't plan to spend too much time in the Airbnb.

The place is clean and new if you just need a place to sleep not more. It was very shocking that it was not an actual house or room or apartment. Its basically a shop or like a garage that was turned into a place to sleep. Next to it are actual retail shops and it’s directly on the main road and street. We didn’t feel safe at all . Also its facing the back of restaurants and food trucks were all workers stay and through their restaurants garbage. Very bad view and neighborhood. Not worth the money
