The apartment by the bay was stunning, lovely views over the water each day and only the noise of birds in the morning. The terrace was less private than maybe hoped for due to the fencing and neighbours in immediate proximity. It was amazing to have free use of kayaks to explore the bay as much as we wanted, especially the trip to Ile Madame. Restaurant La Voile 10 minutes away by the marina was excellent but like several other nearby restaurants was often closed mid week and Le Robert had little to offer. Supermarkets nearby in Le Francois and Le Robert made self catering very easy. Would highly recommend the hike around La Caravelle. Overall a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to return to Martinique.
