The apartment is located in a historic stone building in the characteristic street that leads to the former oil mills and whose name derives from the historic olive deposits. The Church of San Pietro, dating back to the 11th century, adjacent to the cemetery, is a Romanesque structure with a single nave and a semi-circular apse; the building was later enlarged by adding a new aisle. The Oratorio dei Neri is located at the bottom of Piazza Garibaldi, the main square in the historic center of Camporosso, and is preceded by a wide staircase with a double curved balustrade. Since 1787, the clock of the nearby parish church of San Marco has been placed on the facade. 3km from Camporosso we find the village of Dolceacqua, famous for the Doria Castle and the Roman Bridge, easily reachable via the cycle track.
