Permit #STR23-0127 Welcome to "Sarah's Room" in Dana Point! Sarah's room was named for my mother in law and we now enjoy her antique bedroom furniture in our home. Stand in the room and admire the ocean through walls of windows! Relax on balcony in the morning with your coffee or sip a glass of wine in the evenings and enjoy the stunning weather we enjoy in Dana Point! We are only a mile from the Ritz, Waldorf and Marriott Resorts, as well as the Harbor and Beaches! Sarah's Room is a spacious bedroom with beautiful ocean views, a comfortable queen bed, beautiful slate bathroom, tub, and separate shower. Enter the room by way of a shared balcony with amazing ocean views. The room is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, keurig coffee maker, coffee, cream, water, oatmeal, small refrigerator, wine opener, plates, and utensils. The closet has lots of hanging space, hangars and drawers to put all your things. Walk in to a beautiful slate bathroom with a freestanding tub and separae shower. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, bubble bath are provided. We are within walking distance to most of Dana Points restaurants and you will want to check out Truly Pizza, Coastal Kitchen, Craft House, Station Craft Brewery, Jon's fish market, and Turks... among many others!! We are only one mile to the Harbor where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks and catch the flyer over to Catalina, fish or shop in many of the cute little shops. Stop by the Ocean Institute and hike around the dana "point" to find the hidden cave, but make sure you only go in low tide!. You can park for free on the street but please pay attention to the times you cannot park due to street sweeping. NO parking on the house side from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday mornings and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday mornings across the street from the house- this is when the city street sweeps. All other times are open and free!! The tickets they issue can get costly so please pay attention to these times. During the summer, there is the free Dana Point Shuttle that will take you all around town. You can ride the Pacific Surfliner from San Diego all the way to L.A. with multiple stops around the area. The weather in Dana Point cannot be beat!!! We do not have air conditioning, and other than an occasional warm night, you will never need it. Fans are provided in the room for your convenience, along with an iron, ironing board and extra pillows and blankets. During the winter, we do have a gas fireplace in the room. Please set it to a temperature to maintain at night or just turn it on and set it for like an hour to take the chill out of the room. It is very user friendly and easy to set. You can change the flame height as well. Please do not operate on high all night due to high gas costs, or leave on when. you leave the room.. Thank you so much.
