Our private house is located in a peaceful condominium only 10 minutes walking to nearby beaches and center of Carvoeiro. It was built by architects with the idea of resembling it to old constructions around the Mediterranean/North of Africa. My family fully renovated the apartment in July 2023 respecting it's architecture and using local materials. Some furniture was handmade by my father using recycled materials from the house, such as the high quality wood for the dinner table or the closet. The apartment has 70 squared meters (750 squared foot). After enter the apartment there is a main entrance hall which leads to the storage room in the right side (4 square meters / 40 squared foot) - where we keep cleaning products, water heater and washing machine - and to the rest of the house. By the end of the hall on the right side you will find the kitchen space with 8 squared meters (40 squared foot) - we try our best for you to have everything you might need for a short or a very long stay. On the left side there's another hall that leads to the bedroom (14 squared meters / 150 squared foot) and to the bathroom (10 squared meters / 100 squared foot). And at the end of the hall you get to the living room (20 squared meters / 215 squared foot). Then you'll find our balcony space (10 squared meters / 100 squared foot). Facing southeast it has sea view and direct morning sun light.

Wonderful apartment with a view of the Ocean. Ricardo describes it as cozy, but his place was ample compared with some of the "cozy" places we have stayed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was a creaky bed, which Ricardo was going to fix, and hard pillows.
A short walk from the lovely beach town of Carvoeiro, Pedro's house is incredibly charming and has all the comforts you need for the perfect getaway trip. Within close proximity to several incredible beaches, scenic coastal hiking trails, huge variety of restaurants and other amenities, the location is just perfect! It's also the perfect place to plan day trips to several exciting Algarve locations. Can't wait to comr back!
Ricardo's place is a true gem! The location is Excellent - quiet, private with parking just in front of the apartment. At the same time it's a small walking distance to the village center of Carvoeiro where you can find all the breakfast places, restaurants and bars. Nearby beaches, beautiful walking trails around the coast, there's many options to explore. The house has everything you need while it's one of the most coziest I found in airbnb. Super comfortable and beautifully decorated. I will come back for sure!

Carvoeiro is a small picturesque fishing village in the Algarve. One of the most best preserved in the southern coast. The apartment is located in a very quiet and peaceful but centrally located neighborhood. 5-10 minutes walking to the main Carvoeiro beach and main street.
The apartment is inserted in a condominium and there's free parking just in front of the block entrance.

About 12 years ago i started to host in my family house dozens of travellers and backpackers from all parts of the world who opened my horizons and showed me totally different ways of living. In the middle of this, like Robert Frost i reached two roads who diverged in a wood, and i took.. a year to travel in the Middle East and North of Africa hitchiking and homestaying with many locals, who somehow, changed me forever. Obviously that made me have the travel bug within me, and from time to time i need to leave Portugal and explore. I'm a economist working in wealth managment directly with clients as a freelancer. At the same time I work as a tour leader, with small groups of people or small companies/projects, organising and helping out their trips all around Portugal (and abroad - to Iran, Egypt, Turkey and Greece), in a tailor made way and sharing moments with local people and local knowledge to achieve unique experiences when travelling. Apart from this, im still that young teenager, 12 years ago, who just loves to host and meet foreigners, in that perspective, nothing had really changed.
