Our high-altitude Really Blessed Cabin (sitting at 10,200 feet) is a 3 bedroom log cabin offering spectacular panoramic views of Pikes Peak and it's southern ridges in Colorado's high country above the picturesque Gillette Valley. From outdoor settings overlooking the majestic Pikes Peak, to the log cabin that reflects the essence of the Rocky Mountains, Really Blessed Cabin helps create a truly "take your breath away" experience. Our ADU Bunkhouse is for a family of four. Due to the elevation and fun of slopes, we require Snowy Season use of a Jeep, 4x4 or AWD with good tire treads (or snow tires). I would suggest being there to check-in at 4 PM during daylight rather than late or middle of the night in case you get lost. We do not pay for towing, etc. If you get stuck please try to move off to the side for other vehicles (neighbors) and you will need to hike up to the cabin. I wouldn't attempt arrival in a blinding snow storm so check the weather if it is questionable. Check out time is 10 AM and housekeeping is punctual (please set an alarm). The fee shown is for the Cabin which will sleep 3 couples in 3 bedrooms (two queen beds and one king) and the Bunkhouse sleeping quarters as a 4th bedroom. The Bunkhouse is suitable for a family of 4 with one queen bed on the main floor and a mini-queen in a short, open loft suitable for teens and children - but never infants). The Bunkhouse offers an electric fireplace, mini fridge, Keurig Coffee maker, sitting area, coffee table, fold-up dining table & chairs, satellite TV and a DVD player. It has a front porch with seating. Bunkhouse guests will need to share the main cabin bathrooms - it does not have one. No pets are allowed in the Bunk House since it is rather new and set up as a Glam experience. We do not allow smoking in the Cabin or Bunkhouse. This spectacular view is enjoyed from the interior front wall of vaulted windows, as well as, from the wrap around deck, the hot tub and the fire pit. The setting is dramatic. The interior log cabin, appointed with vaulted, tongue and groove beamed ceiling is an ideal place where your family and friends can come together. Other log cabin amenities are wood and slate floors, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, luxurious lighting, wine cooler, granite counters, and tasteful Colorado style decor, including wall mounted Elk antlers. Two full bathrooms round out the log cabin. Our wood stove will keep you toasty on those chilly Colorado nights. A large 60" HD satellite-fed television with Blu-Ray DVD player, surround-sound system and WIFI are available. An audio cable is available for your DJ or sound person to plug in their device to stream your wedding music through the outside speakers during your ceremony. Another Blu-Ray player is in the King bedroom for that TV (bring movies). We do have cards, books, and various board games to play during your stay. If there is not an outdoor fire and smoking ban, you may use the outdoor oversized fire pit for cooking and ambience. A 5 person hot tub sits on the deck where the mountains can be enjoyed or viewing the stars if you take a soak after dark. We have nearly a 360º view. The setting is mountainous, intimate and usually private as no other nearby homes are visible from the cabin (just RV camping). Ideal for your honeymoon, an artist retreat, or just a needed vacation, we have wine cooler, hot tub, bar area, bistro table, 60 inch flat screen, Blu-ray, WiFi connection, Surround-Sound, Deck Speakers, stainless grill and patio furniture. We have a wood stove in the great room and a fire pit for bonfires or campfires nearby. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: It is an easy 10 minute drive to Cripple Creek... a 25 minute drive to Divide's restaurants, etc., and a beautiful 50 minute drive to Manitou Springs and western Colorado Springs. We allow 1 dog with our pet fee (or possibly two small guys... by approval). AirB recently added an obscure Pet Count that offered 5 dogs as our maximum... sorry for the confusion. Again, more than 1 dog needs prior approval. Please do no book until this is resolved. We have a short-fenced dog pen suitable for small guys (we recommend it's use since coyotes are in the neighborhood). Please crate your guy while not in the Cabin - damages will be billed. We do not allow pets in the Bunkhouse. No other animals/pets permitted. Thank you. There are hiking/riding trails surrounding the cabin... please stay on the trails... but be aware of wildlife such as coyotes, deer, elk, fox (no hunting is allowed) and local cows. The Crags trail along with Pancake Rocks, Dome Rock, and Mueller State Park trail systems are all minutes away. Special Occasions Gift Baskets can be arranged and left for you guys. We accept Vnmo and Pypal. Please let us know what the occasion is and we can provide specialty items for the occasion (i.e. honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, etc.). We would love to make this a memorable stay for your special celebration. We are not Weed or smoking friendly; thus, no weed is ever allowed, either inside or outside on the property. Cigarettes and cigars are allowed outside with use of the ash tray. Please no smoking or allow fumes in the Cabin and Bunkhouse. Further cleaning charges and damage charges may be made if this is policy is not followed. With the seasonal outdoor burning and smoking ban (dry conditions) and with our personal policy on indoor smoking, smoking in your car might be your best idea.
