We stayed for a week in August with our 3 children (6,3 and 2). Having read an awful review just before we came, we were worried and contacted Julien who was very responsive and allayed our fears. Please discount that review if you are looking to stay at Julien's! The house was absolutely beautiful - clearly a family home - but perfectly set up for visitors to come and stay. We were very grateful for the toys in the playroom that the kids loved playing with (thank you!). The swimming pool was great, and had a pool robot cover to keep it clean/safe for the kids. The bedrooms, kitchen, sitting rooms were all clean and lovely - such a relaxing place to be. The outdoor kitchen was great too and we cooked a few meals out there ! So lovely having lots of different areas to relax in with the kids. The kids loved the trampoline. The zip was slightly broken due to age, didn't detract from bouncing. Sauna was great for evenings. Would definitely visit again! Tram & boulangerie short walk away.

Extremely disappointed with this property. Poor location with no amenities within walking distance. I was told to use the internet for information by the agent. No information within the property on any local amenities or services. Property had not been cleaned properly. Windows dirty. Some furniture marked or broken. The swimming pool was dirty. ( could not see the bottom of the pool) The pool cover was not working which posed a risk to our young children. Trampoline in poor condition . Gardens not maintained. Cigarette ends in garden. Would not recommend and would not stay again.

Amazing house and pool. Really spacious and relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the outdoor beanbags for sunbathing. The house was in a great location to use public transport into the centre of Nantes. We wanted to make sure our holidays didn't need a car/plane to make it as environmentally conscious as possible and this house allowed us to do that. Brilliant 2hr train connection from Paris and the tram is so convenient to get around town (& free at weekends!). Nantes has lots on offer - highlights included the chateau, jardins (de plantes & extraordinaire), passage de Pommeraye and the amazing Machines de L'Ile'! (Family of four, with children aged 8 and 12, travelling fossil-fuel-free from Newcastle upon Tyne)
