Jay's Place A self contained 1 bedroom unit suitable for a lone traveller or up to 2 persons it's a stone's throw from Embassies and all must-see options in the heart of Woodbrook. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this studio is perfect for you. Delight in the variety of Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Street Food and entertainment calling to you. Private entrance, high speed internet, comfortable queen-sized sofa bed, kitchen, small patio area, with street parking for your vehicle. Jay's Place is located in one of the few remaining Locals-only neighbourhoods of historic Woodbrook. This private, fully self contained, compact, air conditioned, intimate one room Tiny Home unit is 220 sq ft and attached to the host's main house. Designed with your comfort in mind, space utilization has been efficiently optimized with multi-use furniture. The compact studio comfortably sleeps 2 persons on the Queen size Pull-out Sleeper Sofa Bed. Just remove the sofa's seat cushions, pull the bed out and it is ready with sheet in place for your sleep comfort. A multi-purpose countertop does double duty, serving as: - Desk-top for work - Your dining table for consuming meals. Clothes Closet features include: - Luggage storage - Clothing Storage rod and shelf The kitchen features: - Microwave - One burner counter-top electric stove - Apartment size Refrigerator -Toaster oven - Electric kettle - Placemats - Cutlery - Frypan - Pot - Coffee & Tea 🍵 - Basic ingredients to cook a small meal. *High speed internet (WiFi) *Smoke alarm *Carbon monoxide alarm *Fire extinguisher There is a small shared patio area for your relaxation.

I wasn’t expecting much for a one night stay. But from the moment I booked, Janice was there the whole time. It really felt like I was staying with an aunt. The place was extremely clean, and I felt safe and welcomed. Janice was an amazing host. From providing a driver from the airport and even to the ferry the next day. She was very involved but not overbearing. I even hugged her when I was leaving because it really felt like I was staying with family. Would totally book again the next time I’m in Trinidad!

First of all Janice is amazing, extremely friendly and kind, she gave us so much help, recommendations and guidance. She was in contact every step of our journey by bus from the airport ensuring we made it safely. She also organised a complimentary very early morning lift to the ferry terminal for us. The apartment was immaculate, fully equipped and came with lots of little things like bottles of water, milk, soap, snacks to make you feel so welcomed. I can't recommend Janice and this apartment enough, I only wish we had stayed longer.

Based on the "Tiny Homes" concept, yet providing modern conveniences, this space has the basics all snuggled into its layout and is just right for the business traveller and solo or couple adventurers.
You are walking distance to just about Everything and Everywhere. The neighbours are friendly; note however some may be involved in executing minor repair works.

Easy walking distance as Jay's is centrally located between Tragarete Road and Ariapita Avenue two of Woodbrook's main thoroughfares and entertainment hubs.
Supermarket, Laundromat, Pharmacy, Bank, ATM, Beauty Salons are all within 4-6 minutes away.
US Embassy: 8 minutes away
Canadian Embassy: 10 - 15 minutes away
British Embassy: 10 - 15 minutes away.
Jamaican Embassy: 10 minutes away
Close proximity to sporting venues like the Queens Park Oval & the Hasley Crawford Stadium, business districts, medical facilities, malls, movie theaters and for the exercise buff, there is a gym 2 minutes away or green open spaces like Nelson Mandela Park, the Queens Park Savannah, The Botanical Gardens and Adam Smith Square to name a few.
With minimun 24-hour advance notification we can recommend reliable private transportation at additional cost for sight seeing, doing business or for your airport transfers.
For an immersive experience the capital Port of Spain can be accessed by "route taxi", where you share the ride with locals paying a $6.00 fare for "your seat" only.
