Clear instructions from the host and easy to find. The property was in easy walking distance of the university, which is what we were here to visit. We walked into the city centre which is fairly easy to do going in but Exeter is hilly so quite a trek coming back! My legs are feeling it! We went back the following day but caught the bus which is low cost and really easy (bus stop instructions are included in the house manual). The house is spacious enough (there were only 3 of us but could comfortably have catered for a couple more). There is a hot tub and table tennis table but did not recall reading about these in the description so did not come prepared! The garden is beautiful and well maintained. Exeter is full of good restaurants and bars. The quay was pleasant and we had good weather to enjoy which was fortunate. Lots of shopping if that’s your thing and of course the cathedral, castle and museums. Only there for a few days but packed in seeing everything the city had to offer!

Good location and comfortable roomy house. Lovely garden to explore. Kitchen very well equipped for anyone wanting to cook (we didn't) and it was nice to have some basic items available in case of need. e.g. milk and coffee sachets. Adrian, who is very pleasant, called one day to do some work outside which could have caused disruption to our plans as we couldn't have used the garden, but it's possible he hadn't been aware of our stay as the booking was almost last minute and there's a middle man in the form of the management company. In any case we arranged to go to family nearby. Communication otherwise excellent. One or two minor cleaning issues - crumbs and greasy hob in kitchen which were easily dealt with, and very dusty down one side of the bed in the room with the en-suite - but overall very clean. Bedding, towels etc absolutely spotless. Oh, the gardener turned up unexpectedly on Monday so be aware. We found the property suited our needs and would certainly stay again.

Really nice place with excellent garden we didn't get the weather to properly use! Bit of a hill to walk to from the city but really convenient to walk to the University. We had a lovely time.

Adrian's place exceeded our expectations. The house was really spacious and the garden was simply delightful to relax in. There were amazing views over the city too. the beds were comfy and the house very well equipped - the kids loved the table tennis table! The area is quiet and peaceful, and I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
