Historic site is unique and the apartment is as well done as could be expected in a building that is over 100 years old with minor renovation. We appreciated the spacious parking area and second floor apartment with full kitchen. The very comfortable mattress deserves praise, as some B&B's lack this vital necessity, and only provide subpar sleeping comfort. However, the lack of a dressing mirror in the bedroom, possibly to avoid insurance claims?, proved inconvenient and the unexpected freight trains announcing their passing during the night were disruptive to our rest. The location was suitable for our purposes and the price was right for our budget so, all things considered, we enjoyed our stay in this unusual property.

The apartment was charming, historic, and unique. We appreciated the cleanliness and location. The owner greeted us and provided background on the building. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. We are looking forward to staying there again.
