Nice place for a night or two in Maputo. It's in a pleasant, safe neighborhood and you can walk to the center. Though it's not clear from the site, there is safe off street parking. The apartments are old and you hear the upstairs neighbors early in the morning. The closest restaurants/bars are pretty expensive and we were disappointed by the food, but if you walk further there seem to be some better places! Check out the art centre, very impressive.

My family and I had a great stay at Jorge’s! We were so lucky that he could accommodate 5 of us last minute after another platform left us stranded. Very attentive host, great communication and gave us some great recommendations. We were able to walk to many restaurants/sights within 15/20mins. There is a very cool restaurant “Dhow” around the corner and a mini mart a few minutes further that we were able to buy eggs, bread, milk, etc. Would stay again!

The place was hard to locate it took us an hour to get there because we whr lost. I would've preferred for the host to communicate in Advance and send live locations so I can thoroughly prepare to arrive with no hassles. Overall the place is in town and convenient to be surrounded by shops and restaurants.
