We arrived after dark and were welcomed to a well lit home and wind chimes on the front porch the keypad made foe easy access. The home is nicely decorated with quality furniture and appliances. The beds were comfy, the towels were thick and toiletries were nice. The kitchen welcomed us with bottled water, snack and chocolate and fresh eggs from the 'girls' out back as well as a drawer of coffee supplies. The wildflower bouquet stole our hearts! My daughter and I were in town for my great nephews wedding, between the wedding and this home our weekend was perfect. I went to celebrate my 40th bday with family and this home transported me back to my grandparent's home with a modern twist. It was beautiful and the pictures don't do justice. The beds are comfortable which is a must have when away from home. The fresh eggs from the chickens were delicious and the kids loved feeding the goats carrots. The firepit was already stocked with wood, so making smores was super easy. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it longer. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It's a charming house and only a few minutes away from the attractions in New Bern. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. There are goats and chickens out back and our hosts were kind enough to leave fresh eggs in the fridge for us.

We enjoyed our time at this house. We came to visit family so we didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house itself, but the accommodations were great with comfortable furniture and a clean environment. We also enjoyed seeing the little chickens and goats out back. We will definitely use this house again.
