My detached bungalow is in a quite street.
Settle in and make yourselves comfortable.
Please be respectful for the neighbours,although the bungalow is detached please do not play loud music outside.
Great fish and chip shop and Chinese takeaway 4mins walk on Hayley’s terrace very clean and large portions! For those with a small appetite try the kids fish bites and chips they are plentiful for me .

York district hospital
15mins walk .
Town centre 20mins walk .
Riverside foss walk

Bus stop around the corner to the city ,and to monks cross shopping centre ,and cinema,sports centre.the bus stop is on the side of the road where the park is.
The other bus stop is to the right on the same side as the house ,number 12 takes you in to town .
Or you can walk to nestle the chocolate factory the bus runs every 10 mins ,you want the stop called exhibition square .
Walking to the city 20minutes
If you like walking there is a nice riverside walk by the foss river you can get on this walk from the side of the swimming pool ( called yearsly baths ) the walk will take you to newyearswick , or if you want to walk further to haxby .
