The Hidout was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary! Very peaceful and private, but also minutes from town to access grocery stores or restaurants! It stormed/rained one of our days, but we enjoyed it on the screened in porch! Will be coming back if available!!

This is a beautiful property and charming cottage. It rained all weekend, but this added to the peacefulness of our stay. Be aware, there's no Wi-Fi, but our cell phones worked fine. It's a great get-away, not far from the city conveniences. We would definitely return!

We really enjoyed the stay! The Hideout was clean and just perfect for our needs! It was private and we were able to let our dogs explore a bit! We will definitely be back!

So the cabin is really cute and we’ll stocked. This would make a really awesome place to take a family but not so much as a couples retreat. I was celebrating a anniversary and about 2 hours into festivities Steve shows up and starts bushogging and grating the area 50 feet from the cabin. I go outside and try and wave him off and he’s not even looking at me. My wife was mortified it was really aweful. He drives up and says he wanted to meet me. 🤦‍♂️My wife couldn’t relax after he left so we just packed our bags and left. Usually the owners are very respectful of privacy and given that this thing is advertised as a secluded place I’m still not sure what Steve was thinking.

We really like the rustic cabin! It was exactly how it looked on the pictures, easy to find. We appreciate the welcome gestures from Steve like the wine and the welcome greeting on the chalkboard ny the front porch. The place was clean, very peaceful. We wished it wasn’t raining so we could have explored the property with our dogs. We love the screened porch! It’s a perfect place for coffee and to hang out. Steve was really responsive and we appreciate that. This place is highly recommended if you want to have a quiet weekend.
