We had a wonderful time staying in Avlemonas! The apartment was basic, though it had everything we needed, and the host was very responsive to our questions and needs, in particular an early check in and later check out, which was very accommodating. The location was excellent with a water view from both the front and the rear of the apartment, and swimming in a gorgeous cove right outside the door. Outside, there is a large front porch area and rear balcony off the bedrooms. While Avlemonas is small and quaint, the dining options were simply wonderful. Seafood was an exceptional specialty. With fishing boats going out in the morning and a lovely little Jazz bar/café right next door to the apartment, this location has everything to provide a wonderful vacation, and is also a great location to explore the other areas of Kythira.
