Family Glamping in a Luxury Sea-View Pod which has a double bed, a 3 seater sofa bed suitable for 2 people to comfortably sleep on, and a wet room. The Pod is double glazed, fully insulated and gas centrally heated, with a microwave, gas hob unit and fridge. Artisan built by the leading Pod manufacturer to bespoke specifications, the pod has a private entrance and an uninterrupted sea-view with an outdoor decked dining area and private Hot Tub. The Family Sea View Glamping Pod is part of Whitby Holiday Park and stands overlooking the park’s beautiful private beach, Saltwick Bay. The secluded pod garden is approached through a gated willow arch which instantly reveals the beautiful panorama of the sea and sandy beach below. The sound of the waves and salty air are ever present during a stay in the pod, which has its’ own decked veranda, outside dining table and a large Hot Tub, exclusively for the use of pod guests. Straight from your door, there are spectacular walks along the Cleveland Way coast Path to Whitby and to Robin Hoods Bay and on the park there are a range of facilities, such as the new Jet Bar and Bistro, open for daytime drinks and snacks and at night for drinks, cocktails and freshly prepared food. With its’ unique wooden clad exterior and huge circular window, the pod offers a quirky but extremely comfortable place to stay. The interior is modern and stylish, with a wet room, kitchen area for preparation of light snacks a double bed and a large sofa bed which can comfortably sleep 2 adults. The kitchen area has a microwave, hob, fridge, sink area and toaster. There is a large TV, coffee table and uninterrupted views of the sea, best enjoyed in the morning from bed with a cup of tea. The location makes the pod an idyllic setting for a barbeque or relaxed drinks, looking at the amazing panorama. It is also suitable for a small dog to join you on your holiday. A fantastic little pod on a great holiday park in a beautiful location. The view from the hot tub was stunning. Good facilities at the park, very helpful friendly staff. Saltwick bay beach is lovely and a 10/15 min walk along the coast path to Whitby. Would highly recommend for a couple and a dog.
Absolutely outstanding location! From the view to the local walking routes and adjacent beach. We struggled a little with the flexibility of check-in, it should be noted that not only is check in only after 4pm, but you can’t arrive later than 6pm due to reception closing. A self check-in option would help significantly with this. The pod itself was really ideal for two people, the shower was great and the bed was comfy. A rubber shower mat might however help with the wet room style floor. It should be noted that the pictures of the pod aren’t quite accurate and you do you have an additional pod that has since been built right next door, but it is still quite private, especially when the shrubs eventually grow in. Despite any minor faults, the hot tub really does make the stay worth every penny, from sunsets to sunrise, or on a clear starry night it can’t be beaten.

Cliff top location overlooking Saltwick Bay beach and located right next to the pathway down to it. Views looking directly out to sea and along the cliff towards the Cleveland way path which when followed will take you to Robin Hood's Bay.
Parking is available for 1 vehicle next to the Pod. The Cleveland Way footpath runs from the park to Whitby Abbey, making it ideal to walk into the town centre. The Cleveland Way also runs in the opposite direction to Robin Hoods Bay making a lovely 6-6.5 mile walk. Parking in the town centre can be limited at busy periods, but there are taxi firms that will travel up to the park.
