- Modern cottage - Coastal Area - Private Garden - Large Stylish kitchen with spacious living areas - Free on street parking - 0.5 miles to Tynemouth Beach My cottage forms part of a large semi detached house situated in the heart of the beautiful North East coastline. It has been thoroughly furnished with style comfort and functionality in mind. I'm very proud of my home and have enjoyed renovating the property to create a welcoming place for visitors to enjoy. This one bedroom property will sleep 2 guests (one double bedroom). It is located 1 mile form Tynemouth village and 1.5 miles from Whitley Bay Town centre. There are great public transport and road connections to both. Tynemouth beach is within walking distance of the property with stunning views and unique restaurants and bars to enjoy. We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Sainsbury's local a few minutes walk away. The Space The entire property is located on the ground floor. A private front door provides access to the property via a central hallway. On your right you will find a functional, bright and clean bathroom leading to the double bedroom. Wardrobe and storage space is available for guests upon arrival. After returning to the hallway, walk straight and on your right hand side you will find a stunning kitchen with all essential amenities and eye-catching high ceilings creating a wow factor moment. This open plan space also offers a living area with a TV and access to the private garden at the rear of the property. Parking Parking is free in the area. There is one single drive shared between two properties. However, the road is quiet and there is plenty of free on street parking available.

We had a very comfortable stay the sun shone (which was a bonus) and meant we could open the doors to the garden. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
A well appointed flat with a comfortable bed and an amazing kitchen. The shower was great too. I had a little trouble with the heating instructions as they didn’t match what needed to be done, but the issue was resolved quickly. I would definitely visit again.
Fabulous..... A really well equipped and laid out apartment. Really convenient for the beach (12 minutes walk), sainsburys (3 minute walk). Help, admin, check-in instructions were all excellent. We had a really great stay.
Comfy home and well laid out. Garden area to the back and beach about 5-10 minutes away. Sainsbury’s within walking distance. The house is clean and tidy parking is just outside.
We enjoyed our stay in this property. It is perfect for a couple. The close proximity to the beach is a plus point but be aware that it is located on quite a busy road. The garden and large HD TV were also bonuses. I would recommend doing a bit of research into the local area before you arrive, as the information for guests was very thin and impersonal.

The local area is friendly welcoming and full of Bars, Restaurants, Cafe's and shops to make anyone's trip away feel complete. The Northumberland coastline boasts an array of outstanding natural beauty and more castles than anywhere else in UK. Our award winning beaches is a surfers paradise with lessons taking place a 5 minute walk away from the property. Local parks offer a perfect escape for those four legged friends wanting to enjoy the open space. Northumberland park, the quarry, North Shields river walk and Priory castle are all well recommended locations for a spot of fresh air.
Eating out
I would highly recommend sampling some of the lively bars and restaurants in the area. Tynemouth has it's own unique style but all with a consistently welcoming feel. The Gulshan Indian, Marshal’s fish & chips, Allards Lounge and How’d You Do just to name a small few.
Food Shops
There is a Sainsbury's Local at the end of the street and also a petrol station to refuel for guests travelling via car. There are two larger supermarkets in the area both an estimated 5 - 10 minute drive away depending on traffic.
By Car
Road links in the area are very good. There are various car parks dotted along the coastline giving access to Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth. Newcastle City Centre is a 20-25 minute drive West.
By Bus
Our local bus stop is only a couple minutes walk away from the property. Timetables are available at the bus stop. There are bus links available to various coastal regions as well as Newcastle City centre.
By Train / Metro
In the North East area there is a very efficient Metro system connecting North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Newcastle City centre and Newcastle Airport. Cullercoats or Tynemouth are our local metro stations. Trains are very regular and reasonably priced.
Taxi
Local taxi firms include Blueline, Eastcoast and Radar taxis. We also have UK wide firms such as UBER.
