Our home is located in an end-of-terrace house off the Shandon Street, one of the city's most historically important roads, yet the room offers a peaceful retreat away from the city noise. There is no parking around the house, but I'm more than happy to provide parking tips.
For those who enjoy exploring the city, you're in luck! The house is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, placing you within easy reach of all the vibrant attractions. Additionally, some of Cork's most famous landmarks are a quick 3-minute stroll away. You can climb the historic Shandon Tower and even ring its bells, an experience worth savoring. Don't forget to visit the Butter Museum, where you can learn about Irelands's rich dairy heritage. And if you're feeling adventurous, the Cork City Hop-On Hop-Off Bus is conveniently close by, ready to whisk you away on a memorable sightseeing adventure.
Convenience is also at your fingertips, with a pharmacy and a grocery shop just a leisurely two-minute walk from your doorstep. So whether you need to pick up a few essentials or seek a remedy for any unexpected ailments, everything you require is within easy reach.

The house is in very central location so you're within walking distance of almost everything Cork City has to offer :)
There are city bikes available in the city centre and for sightseeing I recommend Hop on Hop off bus which stops just few min walk away from the house, by the Butter museum.
Street parking is possible on Shandon street, it's free on the weekend and between 6 PM and 8 AM on weekdays.
