This place has a wonderful location in the forest, perfect for a couple of nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would much prefer to stay here than at the bigger resorts near busy Sabang. The food however is nothing special at all, especially for the price, which is highly unusual considering the manager is French. The internet speed was fine, it just required logging in and out which quickly becomes annoying! Honestly finding good food in the Phillipines can be a real challenge, and I had a very ordinary lunch at one of the resorts in Sabang. So despite this issue, I do highly recommend this place and hope they can put some effort in to address this issue.

We found Atremaru to be the perfect place to unwind after our wedding. We enjoyed all the services and amenities. Being the sustainability-oriented travelers, we were impressed with the design and operation of the resort. There was no A/C and we didn’t need it! Staff were very friendly and helpful and being there at the end of high season was special—at times we felt like we had the place to ourselves. I’d definitely stay there again.
