Pros: - Kind and funny host (Ivana). - I liked being close to the airport, close to the road to Hana (Hana Hwy), close to Mama’s Fish House and close to a beach where the turtles come out. 😍 - Felt safe although nature sounds at night could be a lot for a city girl. - Liked that there was a water dispenser inside the fridge to refill your reusable bottle. Could be better: - There’s a small hole/dip in the middle of the living room that kinda creeped me out. There’s carpet over it but I always felt/saw/remembered it. - Fridge could be a bit cleaner (it wasn’t bad). Other: - Make a reservation if you want to go to Black Sand Beach. - Road to Hana is currently closed at some point past seven pools. Do not recommend driving dirt road around the mountain. Overall it was a good stay, especially since I booked less than 2 weeks prior to my arrival, was traveling alone and Maui is expensive. Thanks for everything!!

great location, so much better than downtown, save 30 min if you do either road to Hana or sunrise. very clean since it is off the ground, and much less insects than other places we stayed (insects is unavoidable in tropical places)

My family and I enjoyed our stay . Haiku is the place to be. My first time being in that area was a great experience for me and my Ohana.
