Get away and stay in the heart of Cook Forest, Pennsylvania. Only 2 min from the beautiful Clarion River and all the amenities of the forest. Cabin is located on a private gravel road on 3 acres of forest. Can sleep 7, but more comfortably sleeps 4-6. 2 queen bedrooms downstairs with an additional 2 twin beds in 1 loft and full bed in other loft. Enjoy evenings by the fire or listening to the relaxing sounds of the forest on the large covered porch!! Central air & Wi-fi included with Roku TV. Kitchen includes new fridge, stove, oven, microwave and coffee pot Includes plates, bowls, cups, coffee cup, eating utensils Pots and pans Television with Roku app. Cabin has WiFi. Recliner and sofa. Wood burning fireplace Large dining table with seating for 6-8. Bath has shower, toilet and sink Towels, washclothes and all bedding included Downstairs bedrooms are queens 1st loft has 2 twins 2nd loft has full bed Covered porch with large picnic table and chairs. 4 rockers Charcoal grill Firepit with chairs Axe provided for firewood Guest access Guests have access to entire cabin and 3 acres of wooded property. Small stream runs thru property. Other things to note: Must climb ladders to get to lofts. If visiting in winter, best to have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. The road is plowed when there is snow. We are family oriented and do not allow parties.

Boo Bear cabin made our stay in Cook Forest memorable and cozy. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were charmed and happy by all the cabin offered. The lodge decor makes it really feel like you’re on vacation and “away”, the fire pit with plenty of seating was a great place to spend a cool evening and the covered porch was clutch during a hail storm. We used every inch of the well thought out space! Very clean, plenty of linens, thoughtful touches and decor, well stocked kitchen & great offerings of games/puzzles. You do pass other cabins on the lane, however the way Boo Bear is situated, you feel secluded and private. Beautiful forest views from both inside and outside the cabin. James was very responsive and generous, one of THE BEST hosts. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful as well as the surroundings. The weather was very rainy so we just stayed inside by fireplace and played games and cooked a lot. Would definitely go back again!!
Had a great stay for a long weekend with 2 moms and 3 kids (6, 9). Kitchen supplies were plentiful and in good shape - those very well seasoned cast irons were the best! Kids loved the outside hammocks and little creek at the edge of the property. Obviously the inside lofts were also a big hit! Though, fyi - the loft with 2 twin beds has a ladder that isn’t angled so it might be a little trickier for younger kids and the opening is completely open on 2 sides so they can easily fall through if not paying attention. Also - it’s a woodsy cabin so totally understandable but there were several large wolf spiders out and about inside, and some ants, so just fyi if that’s a dealbreaker. Overall, had such a great stay and are already talking about making it our annual reunion spot, hopefully in the summer next time to take advantage of nearby river fun.

We had a great weekend at Boo Bear Cabin! It’s tucked away in the Cook Forest, yet still relatively close to stores, if you need to run out for anything. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with all the amenities, it even had an “in case you forgot” basket. The outdoor space is also well equipped.

Set back off of route 36 just south of the Clarion river, the cabin is located on a private road shared by roughly 10 cabins total.
