My home is a beautiful modern cottage-style house only a few minutes walk from the centre of historic Malmesbury, a lovely town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Decorated in a Skandi-Boho inspired style throughout the property, comfortably sleeps 4 with two king size bedrooms, one of which can be split into twins and two bath/shower rooms. There is a separate office with a single sofa-bed, for a 5th guest; please note on request only. There is a private garden and free parking for 1 car. My amazing home is a fantastic base for family and friends from which to experience Malmesbury and explore the wider Cotswolds, that is right on your doorstep! The property spans three floors, giving plenty of space and privacy for guests. The property has been furnished in a Skandi-Boho inspired style, making the house a wonderful place to stay! The downstairs layout has a wonderful open plan living, dining and kitchen space. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher, gas hob, microwave and coffee machine. You will find a cosy log burner in the living area, as well as comfy sofas and Smart TV. My home also has a private garden with garden furniture for outdoor dining, including BBQ; a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring! The first floor has the master bedroom with a king size bed, main bathroom with bath and shower. There's also an office with a dedicated workspace, with a single sofa-bed that can sleep a 5th guest. PLEASE NOTE, this is on request only to enable us to provide the bedding. On the top floor is a 2nd bedroom with king size bed and a separate shower room. Please note: This king size bed can be split into twins (2 single beds) on request at time of booking. All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries. Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property. Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details, when making your booking, to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of £30 per pet. CHECK IN Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the house sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. CHECK OUT Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
The property was as described! The house is comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen and easy parking, which is kind of rare in the neighborhood. We had an amazing time and for sure recommend the place!
A great little house to stay in for a few days. We enjoyed using the swimming pool in the leisure centre opposite and well as the quick walk into Malmesbury. The kitchen was really well equipped.
Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of useful utensils for home cooking; living space was very relaxing and looked better than the photographs; the dining arrangements were a breakfast bar height table with four tall folding metal chairs. Efficient dishwasher and washing machine. Comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space; did not use the garden but pleasant to look onto; parking space right outside front door
This is a wonderful place to spend your time in Malmesbury and exploring the Cotswold area. The town is very walkable and contains pretty much everything you need. The team handling the property are very responsive and look after their tenants best interest. We had an issue with the heating a few days into our stay. They responded immediately, offering alternatives while the repair people could order parts and remedy the issue. Treve, one of the owners, was onsite during the repair to assure we were very comfortable and well taken care of. We have used AirBNB many times around the world and this was among our best experiences. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
Malmesbury is a beautiful town to visit, said to be one of the oldest continually inhabited towns in England. It sits on top of a perfect flat hill encircled by the River Avon at the southern entrance to the Cotswolds. Malmesbury is affectionately called the "Queen of Hilltop Towns".
Malmesbury is a brilliant destination for walking, dining, and staying, and it is well worth spending some time exploring all that the town has to offer.
The jewel in our crown being Malmesbury's 12th century Abbey! There is also the fabulous Abbey Manor House Gardens, Athelstan museum in the Town Hall, River Walks and nature trails, Malmesbury's 15th century Market Cross and Womad Music festival in July.
There are many supermarkets and local stores on your doorstep. The local High Street is an 8 minute walk from the property. A large Co op food store is 3 minute drive on Gloucester road, Waitrose is an 8 minute drive and Aldi is a 6 minute drive.

A Free parking space is available in front of the house. Additional free parking is available across the street in the leisure centre car park, less than 100 meters from the property.
Malmesbury can be explored on foot, and there are many local wonderful walks.
Buses to Cirencester , Chippenham and surrounding areas from Cross Hayes in Centre of town. Nearest bus stop to property is on Bristol street
The best and most accessible train station is Kemble Station an 18 minute drive or Chippenham station a 20 minute drive.
