The Tides is a former inn full of character and charm, and boasts some of the best views in Pugwash! The spacious 4-bdrm unit we call the Townhouse is perfect for your family gathering or friends getaway. The large open kitchen, dining area, and indoor/outdoor sunroom provide plenty of gathering space for your group. Socialize in the huge shared back yard overlooking the harbour, cook out at the BBQ, enjoy the fire pit or soak your worries away in the outdoor hot tub. This grand townhouse is loaded with charming details. There are 4 large bedrooms and plenty of living space including a small deck and a large indoor/outdoor sunroom. We are located right on the Pugwash Harbour front, and the expansive back yard boasts incredible water and sunset views and has a hot tub and fire pit.

Roomy and comfortable. Lovely backyard view. Marsha and Eldon were very responsive - excellent communication.
We had a wonderful stay at Marsha’s place! The home is beautiful and even larger in person than it looks. The sunroom and patio area are stunning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!! Bring your own basic items like coffee, tea, shampoo, etc. as they are not available at the house, just FYI :)
We had a lovely family weekend at Marsha’s beautiful home. Lots of room, great for cooking and a big table for playing games and eating together. Somehow, a cozy feeling in a large space.
What a beautiful view! This place is only 30 minutes from Wentworth for anyone looking for a mountain bike or ski weekend getaway. The kitchen is spacious and great for gathering, plus the BBQ is well equipped with a high quality grill. If the Masstown Market or Butcher Shop is on your route, it's worth the stop. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the hot tub overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset. We highly recommend staying here with family or friends.
absolutely beautiful spot close to Wentworth for a great ski weekend. Very accessible and well stocked. the only thing missing in the description is that there is an EV charging station right down the street at the Pugwash Library which was very useful and I know other EV owners would be very happy to know about.

Our property is located in an ideal spot to fully enjoy the peaceful Village of Pugwash! Located on the Harbour next to the terminal, we’re walking distance to everything: swimming at Dinghy Beach, the Harbourfront Centre Stage and Eaton Park Boardwalk, the Thinkers Lodge and Old Lobster Factory, Pugwash Farmers’ Market, Peace Hall, the boat launch, marinas, tourist information, gift shops, pharmacy, groceries and the liquor store. Admire the work of local artists on the Pugwash Open Air Gallery walking tour!
If you want to explore the region, we're ideally situated on the scenic Sunrise Trail (Route 6). There’s something nearby to enjoy in every season: Golfing at Northumberland Links (10 minute drive) and Fox Harb’r (20 min), autumn leaves and skiing at Ski Wentworth (25 min), Jöst Winery (25 min) and Tatamagouche Brewing (30 min), not to mention the numerous beaches, parks and walking trails!

We live on-site and can be reached throughout your stay, if there’s anything you need.
