I stayed at Chong's for 54 days. I had a lovely time and was made to feel very welcome. The host is kind and friendly and went out of his way to help me out on several occasions. The room itself is of decent size with a large bed, ample storage space, large mirror and a table with draws. The house is clean, has a nice garden and great facilities. It's situated close to the local supermarket and there are two nearby bus stops which take you into town. The family has a large cat who is playful and a joy to be around. Thank you Chong for a wonderful stay in New Zealand, all the best!

Chong is a really great host. He let us know there is a party before comfirm our booking. It is a really new and clean house. He provided us the information of the nearby attractions. Good homestay in Christchurch. Besides, thanks for the dumplings, cherries and breakfast!
