The apartment was very comfortable and the interior architecture was quite attractive. Don't let the graffiti on the front of the building put you off. In Rome graffiti is treated as an art form and is everywhere, even on their street cleaning vehicles. The neighborhood felt very safe, and there is an expansive hillside park nearby. Diagonally across the street is a popular neighborhood cafe, plus a quick food mart where you can pick up incidentals. Between the apartment and the river to its east is a network of narrow streets loaded with bars and cafes and lots of vibrant nightlife. Rome has a metro and a tram network but they don't run very close to this neighborhood. So, you should be prepared to walk. You can reach most of the major tourist attractions within 25 - 45 minutes on foot. There is Uber which defaults to the local ITtaxi service but it's difficult to get picked up in this neighborhood. They seem to be focused primarily on the major tourist attractions.

De loft is prima en rustig gelegen in het levendige Trastevere met z’n grote variëteit aan leuke restaurants.

Thanks for the nice stay, iFlat! It’s a very nice apartment, clean and nice. The only thing I would need to inform others of is that the bed upstairs is so noisy whenever i would toss in the night. It really made it hard to sleep and fall asleep. Besides that, we couldn’t get the coffee machine to start or work. Would be 5/5 if these changes were made!
