Second time back at interstellar after our first visit last year! Kevan was as welcoming a host as we experienced last year - great communication and local recommendations. The most peaceful and relaxing settings - can’t wait to return.
We loved our experience here at Interstellar. You can tell a ton of time, thought, and money was put into the design of the property. From the fixtures, linens/pillows, decor, art, furniture, heck even the bbq...everything is top notch. You can head into town and get great food and supplies only 10-15 minutes away. I don't know how many drinks I had sitting outside watching all the wildlife on the property. The squirrels must have gotten comfortable with us because after a couple days there a bunch of them were out running all over the place. Even the coyotes were cool to watch roam the property. I can't say enough about the property and highly recommend it to anyone.
I did so much research. Too much. It was exhausting because this was a special trip. Kevan’s place, Pioneertown and this slice of the High Desert exceeded expectations. If I could have conceived of the perfect place for the desert it would have been Interstellar. What a magnificent stay. I know we aren’t the only ones pained to have left. Kevan as a host is prompt, exceedingly friendly, supremely helpful and just straight up kind. From hiking recommendations to comments about the amazing vistas and mountains, the experience of having a host like Kevan simply can’t be match. If and WHEN we make it back to this part of the world we will not hesitate to stay again. In fact my eldest daughter is planning to come back specifically to Interstellar in the future, which is the ultimate testimony. Thank you Kevan. Thank you desert California. ❤️🐍🌵
