Serenity Ridge is situated within a small neighborhood atop a hill that we share with one other secluded cabin. Our property boasts a plethora of greenery and nature among the bountiful groupings of trees, trees and more trees!

The town of Monticello is just a 7 mile drive from our property. There you will find a Walmart and Save A Lot for your grocery needs. To meet other basic needs there are: drug stores, nail & hair salons, a shoe store, gas stations with convenience items, a liquor store, tobacco/vape shops, a few dollar stores and even a bait shop!
Specialty shopping in Monticello offers places like: Market Lake Cumberland which is a vendor mall for women's and children's clothing and accessories, Margaret's Gift Shop, Main Street Books, Peddlers Vendor's Mart, A Southern Accent, the Quilt Shop, Monticello Florist with gift items and down the road a bit on Hwy 90 East is Antiques 'n Such!
Additionally, there are multiple eateries to satiate your appetite including: the Black Stallion Steak House, three Mexican Bar & Grills, a Chinese Buffet or stop in at the Pool Hall downtown offering "great burgers"! Grab a bite for breakfast at The Donut Palace or the Huddle House.
On the outskirts of downtown, Conley Bottom Marina [just at our backdoor!] boasts The Boathouse restaurant offering a wide variety of cuisine while you enjoy a 360-degree view of Lake Cumberland! For a well-stacked sandwich, drive over to Historical Dunagan's Store on KY 1275 for lunch near Mill Springs! Head to Happy Hoppers Coffee & More for a coffee and a breakfast bagel or lunch on Hwy 90 West just past Ace Hardware!
If you're in the mood to grill in, Foothill's Country Meat Market on Hwy 90 West sells the freshest meat & poultry in town! Allen Farms will appease all your fresh produce needs from their red Produce Barn on Hwy 90 East offering seasonal delights. Oh, and if you're a wing lover, keep an eye open for Monticello Wings mobile unit known to frequently set up at Conley Bottom Marina!
Of course, you'll find all the usual choices of many fast food restaurants as well in Monticello central including: Subway, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Wendy's, Hardee's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Domino's, Long John Silvers and even a DQ to satisfy your frozen treat cravings!
Somerset, a 25 minute drive, offers shopping on a much larger scale, including 2-3 well known grocery stores. There is a wide variety of chain and locally-owned restaurants as well, but too many to list here!
