Enjoy absolute tranquility in this incredibly charming and comfortable converted mill cottage on the edge of Gatcombe Lake. Three minutes drive to Nailsworth - named a top Cotswold destination by the Sunday Times - and within short distance of Tetbury, Painswick, Cirencester and other attractions of the Southern Cotswolds. Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath each around 40 minutes’ drive. Easy access to M5 and M4. Child friendly. Sleeps 4 but with possibility of an additional guest on a roll-away bed. The property is a spacious converted mill cottage of just over 1,100 square feet. Grade II listed with exposed wooden beams, yet recently renovated and appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture and all modern conveniences. Sleeps 4 in comfort with two en-suite bedrooms (one super king bed, the other twin bedded) (roll-away bed can be made available for 5th guest by prior agreement). Fully equipped kitchen. Child friendly amenities including travel cot, high chair, and staircase safety gate.

Staying at The Mill was a lovely experience. It was very quiet but still accessible to all places you want to visit in The Cotswolds. The apartment is very spacious providing everything you need with very comfy beds. We would recommend Simon’s place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Cotswolds.
Lovely accommodation away from the hustle and bustle. Ideal for a family visit. A car is essential. The Cotswolds lived up to the hype - wonderful scenery and stunning villages. We would stay here again. Great instructions from Simon and excellent communication about a minor malfunction. Highly recommended!

The cottage is situated within a charming and quiet enclave centered around 18th and 19th century Grade II listed mill buildings. Enjoy peaceful walks alongside Gatcombe Lake and stream (complete with resident ducks and swans!). Many benches and picnic areas are available and reserved exclusively for the private community in which the cottage is located.
Nailsworth can be reached in under 5 minutes by car (plenty of free parking) or just over 20 minutes on foot. There is free parking at property for up to 2 cars.
Nailsworth has an excellent choice of independent retailers including Hobbs Bakery. the Egypt Mill complex, Williams Kitchen and many others.
The Weighbridge Inn pub is about five minutes’ walk along the Nailsworth road.
