Kiyomi is an incredible host! I had a last minute booking issue and kiyomi was a hero! The location was absolutely wonderful, it was very close to the main road of Saddle Road, exactly where I wanted to be! If you're curious if the location has been changed with the first review from Natasha, look no further: The first floor is completely seperated from upstairs and private, there is no sharing of anything. The big main deck is all yours. My family and I spent so much time on it as it was peaceful, and beautiful to look at the sky and mountains. It was kept clean, and very bright from natural light from the windows. It had plenty of hot water for us, and took as little to no time to warm up. If you want to be very close to Port of Spain, maybe don't book in the mountains and complain. The Location is superb! close to Maracas Beach. PROS: VERY safe, gated, helpful host, hot water, privacy, clean, picturesque, location as adv CONS: Wifi was good but didn't reach parts of the bedrooms.

Kiyomi is a lovely person. Unfortunately on this occasion this stay did not work out for us because the property was not as advertised. The property is currently shared with the host, with guests downstairs and the host upstairs - there is no separation to the living quarters meaning no privacy. Upon arrival the place was extremely dusty and we were notified that the host owns pets. A deep clean before guest arrival should have taken place. Hot water is problematic and despite running the tap for some time no hot water flowed. Location is picturesque however, when we checked out the next morning we noticed how far the property was from ground zero (Carnival) You need to secure a driver or hire a vehicle. I was able to secure a private 2 bed property much closer to ground zero for at least £1k+ less the price of Kiyomi’s place. The charge during carnival season is usually the closer to ground zero the higher the rental cost. We checked in 9pm and checked out by 8:30am.
