This place was amazing. The location was perfect, right on the beach. The screened in porch/kitchen was the absolute best part. The host was responsive and helpful, they let us check in an hour early when we needed to as well. I'd give this place 5 stars except they have $450 cleaning fee, plus having a check out cleaning checklist for us, and having an envelope soliciting a tip for the cleaning crew really gave our group a negative impression. If you're looking for a beach vacation and don't want to deal with crowds, this is the perfect spot as long as you don't mind the cleaning fees😊

This location/home was perfect for our 2024 Family Trip. Our adult children (2), their spouses, 2 grand children (2.5yrs and 5 months), my husband and I all stayed at this house comfortably. It was perfect! Quiet neighborhood, beach area is beautiful, the pool was so relaxing after a day after a full day at the beach. We really enjoyed the outdoor living area. We spent so much time there on the swings watching the dolphins daily. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings in this area, and our dinners. So many of our pictures were taken and memories made in this area. The house is directly on the beach, just a short walk to the water. Plenty of towels were provided for each bathroom. Everything we needed was provided. Comfy beds and furniture. Very close to the local restaurants and seafood market. Our grown children (36 & 40) stated several times this house was perfect! Autumn was great! Great communication. We would definitely stay at Sweet Retreat again! Thank you!

The location is great being right on the beach so we could walk out in the morning for sunrise and shell on the beach. The pool was brand new for our stay (wasn't in the original listing when we booked). We were one of the first, if not the first, guests to use the pool and it was a delight. It was nice to just relax in the sun by the pool or dip your toes in, or to jump in after a nice hot tub session. It was not tremendously clear from the description or the pics, the main 1st level of the house has the large screened in porch and outdoor style kitchen/grilling area. The inside of that level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom which are not directly connected to the second floor (2 entrances). The second floor of the living space has the main kitchen and living/dining room along with 3 bedrooms (1 attached master bath) and then a full bath off the kitchen to share for the other 2. We had a great stay and definitely would return to St. Joe

We really love the place …right on the beach, Great pool, hot Tub, and right on the beach. We Saw dolphins, caught fish, swam. Sat in the hot tub…. Just a great week for us all ranging in age from 71- 1 1/2.
