We had an absolutely lovely stay. The location was perfect for exploring around Forio and Maike was a gracious host.

The location is very good. Not far from all the attractions of the town of Forio but away from the noise of the streets. Maike and Giovanni are lovely people who are friendly and helpful and were always available if needed. They provided walking maps for us when they knew we were interested. Maike speaks very good English too which made things much easier for us. The apartment had everything we needed and the air conditioning was very welcome since our week there was hot. We were very happy to stay there.

Maike & Giovanni were fabulous hosts. Always prompt at responding to us if we had a need or question. The apartment was as shown and very clean. Lots of info provided by hosts on things to do. Apartment was within a 10 minute walk from the ferry and just off the Main Street in Forio so getting to restaurants or shopping was easy. Maike gave us suggestions for restaurants and shopping after meeting us at the ferry. Supermarket was less than 5 minutes away from where we stayed. There wasn’t anything we were lacking during our stay and hope to return again someday soon.

Our stay at Maike and Giovanni was very pleasant. The house was very clean and tidy. It was equiped with eveything that we needed for ourselfs but also our baby, which was amazing. They provided a well equipped crib and a baby chair. The place is situated near the main pedestrian street in Forio which is extremly convenient. Maike, Giovanni and their kids have been very helpful and friendly. They provided many useful tips for visiting the main attractions of the island. We strongly recommend staying at their place.
