Kit and John's place was beautiful, comfortable, and had all we needed and more for a great girls getaway. Kit was very responsive to any questions throughout our stay. Location was easy for music in Pioneertown, thrifting in Yucca Valley, the park, groceries, etc. though we found that we rarely wanted to leave! Great hosts and great place.

We had an amazing family visit at Kit’s property! The location is fantastic for being both private and near Joshua Tree. The vibes are on point. Kit was helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a little bit of midcentury luxury in the high desert!

We had a wonderful spring break here with our 9 and 11 year old sons. The house itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated. It's as nice as the pictures convey. Beds and bedding are top notch. We loved the location of the house—how the backyard looked out into unobstructed views of the desert. There's a lot to do between swimming in the pool, visiting Joshua Tree, checking out the cute local establishments, watching movies, cooking food, and hanging out in the various cute rooms of this house. It's laid out in a way that feels very warm and encourages socializing and fun. Kit was super responsive and helpful when we needed anything. This might be my favorite Air BNB stay. It's a house will only get better with time—it's clear the owners are invested in making it great.

My friends and I had a great time at the Mod Escape! The house was really nice and clean with cute mid century modern design. Kit was a fantastic host and super responsive. Will definitely stay here again next time in the valley!
