The neighborhood is a quiet residential part of the east side. We are just around the corner from an elementary school and a fire/police station. The Golf Course /Park is by far the best feature of the neighborhood. We feel very safe in our home, but we ask that guests keep the doors locked when coming and going, as well as shutting the door behind you. Trina(cat) likes to run out to go lizard hunting and I prefer she don’t run out without anyone knowing, or without supervision. She listens very well if you tell her to come back in, might talk back(*hiss**hiss), but will do as you say anyways. Parking anywhere within the rocks or the drive way. Although this is a safe neighborhood, we recommend that guests do not leave valuables in their car and keep their vehicles locked everywhere they go!

The public bus runs just a short walk up the North side of Camino Seco to 22nd Street. If you’re walking, hang a left to Pantano and you’ll reach “The Pit”, which is a bunch of Food Trucks, or South on Camino Seco to Golflinks Road. You reach Filiberto’s Mexican food and Coffee shop. We are also willing to take guests to nearby attractions or stores when we're available.
