The house was beautiful, designed to a high standard but also cosy. The beds were comfortable, soft, and the blinds kept the summer evening/early morning light out. Åsmund very kindly left us a bottle of wine and some chocolate as a welcome gift, and he tried to be at the house to welcome my parents-in-law but they got delayed and he had to go, which was fine because he was so responsive to questions and there was a lockbox to get in. The pool was an absolute highlight, and there was also a trampoline and two electric children's vehicles that were fun for our son. The kitchen was well-stocked; it was my son's birthday and I found enough dry ingredients to make a small cake for him. The house is located only a few minutes' walk uphill of the station for a metro train that goes right into the centre, and use of his electric car was included so my father in law could pick us up with our luggage to avoid the hill. It was so peaceful there, a wonderful family holiday we'll treasure.
