Sitting on a gable end to an impressive sea view, as you pull up to Beaches you will really feel that ‘I am on holiday’ vibe. This property has been lovingly renovated, decorated and furnished to provide stylish luxury accommodation for discerning guests looking for somewhere really special for their break. With five bedrooms, accommodating eight people and three bathrooms, this property is perfect for families and couples alike. It is also perfect for three generations travelling together as one of the bathrooms and en-suite is located on the ground floor. With a light, and airy living room and separate kitchen/dining room there really are lots of places to relax in, unwind and enjoy your break. The contemporary, well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal together and the dining area which has French doors into the garden, helping you to bring the outside in while eating together and raising a glass or two. Overstrand itself is a very sought-after village, not least because it boasts one of the best beaches in the area, which is often quieter than its big sister, Cromer. And from Beaches you will literally be enjoying that beach in moments, making this a great choice for beach lovers too. In fact, venture a little further and you will find numerous coastal habitats to explore with North Norfolk boasting sand and shingle beaches, rolling grassy dunes, promenades, a famous pier, salt and clay marshes, cliff tops, quays, creek and harbours all waiting to be enjoyed. And another joy of this location is that you can be in the heart of stunning Norfolk Broads land in 30 minutes and in the fine city of Norwich in 45. You can even get a train to both from nearby Cromer if you would prefer not to drive. Add in history and nature galore, lots of family attractions, great golf courses and wonderful walks and cycle routes and you’re sure to be back just to fit it all in. Gorgeous well kept house, perfect for our stay! With the pub just next door and the beach at the end of the road it was a fabulous location! The kitchen was clean and spacious and in the summer I can imagine using the beach and coming back there would be so lovely, we would definitely stay again! Fab place! Actual hosts of the property were very helpful.

We absolutely loved this place. We were five girls having a reunion catch up weekend. Everything about the house was perfect - well stocked kitchen, homely and nicely decorated, plenty of space to sit, lovely bedding, lots of bathrooms/toilets. Couldn’t really fault it to be honest! It was a short walk to the beach with a pub and convenience store just up the road. We could hear noise from the pub on Saturday night but it stopped around 11/11:30pm and wasn’t too loud to begin with. We would 100% stay again!
Had a really difficult experience communicating with the hosts through Airbnb. The phone number on their profile isn’t an active number (automated system just hangs up) and they didn’t reply to messages. If I called them directly they said I couldn’t speak to them (and the only way I could manage to speak to a person was to say I wanted to make a new booking) because I’d booked it through Airbnb and was told to direct my query through the messages in the app (which don’t get read). As for getting in, it says in the description somebody will meet you to let you in; this is not the case, you need a key code to unlock the key safe. The code was not sent to us via email or through messages. My recommendation would be to book any properties directly and avoid complications of having to go through Airbnb. The property itself I couldn’t fault; it was nice and clean, as described, great place to stay.
